BLOG#345TO2 ROUNDS 3 & 4

ROUND 3

1 S. Burns-10 65 Only 1 bogie in last 2 RDs, now its his to lose.

2 R. Fox-8 62 One bogie 9 birdies after 68&72 RDs1&2, up 51 spots.

2 SW Kim-8 67 He has had 3 very good RDs, but is due for a bad one.

4 R, Gerard-7 69 One bogie 2 birdies, not enough to win.

4 L. Herbert-7 71 Costly birdies on 15&16 may take him out of winning.

6 L Aberg-6 67 Bogies 1st hole then 4 birdies, up 11 spots and 54 from RD1.

6 B DeChambeau-6 69 Bogies #2 & #18 with only 2 birdies, I expected better.

6 J Suber-6 70 Bogies 3 of last 5 holes, has played well but I think he is done.

11 X Schauffele-4 66 Two bogies 6 birdies, up 42 spots.

11 J Rahm-4 70 DB’s 1st hole, than 4 birdies 2 bogies to save par.

11 S Scheffler-4 70 One bogie 1 birdie, just not making the putts he has in the past.

29 Rory McIlroy-2 69 Bad start 72 RD1, inconsistent putting never in it.

Third RD summery. I think Burns will finally win his 1st major. He usually has a bad stretch and I think it was in RD 1 when he bogied last 3 holes. Since then only 1 bogie.

Ludvig Aberg He has had a so/so year for him but 6 top 10’s, 4th at PGA, 5th at Players,

17th at US Open. He has the skills to win this if he can avoid a DB or too many bogies.

FINAL ROUND

1 Ryan Fox-10 68 Wins tournament with outstanding putting, 12’ on 18 to win. $3.2M

2 Cameron Young-9 64 Low RD with 7 birdies but only bogie on 18. $1.8M

46 Jon Rahm E 74 Starts and ends with DB’s, only 1 decent RD #2 67. $42K

Final RD Summery

Unlikely champion in Ryan Fox 39 years old. Starting odds 125/1, and in 2026 2 top 10’s and 2 missed cuts in 15 tournaments. Two PGA wins Mertle Beach Classic in 2024 & Canadian Open in 2025, 0 in 2026. Ranked #56 OWGR, #59 FedX.

He was #72 after RD1 but shot a record 62 in RD 3 to jump to #2 and start RD4 in the final group with Sam Burns. Outstanding putting including the winning putt on 18 and 4 birdies on the final 6 holes give him the win and avoids a playoff with Cameron Young.

Cameron Young After a terrible RD 3 (73) with 4 bogies on the last 8 holes, he makes a great

Comeback with low final RD 64 and if he doesn’t bogie #18 maybe he wins.

Sam Burns As ogolfit.com predicted it was his tournament to lose and he did. He birdies 2nd hole, then another bad stretch with 3 straight birdies and then all pars, no birdies.

SI Woo Kim 8 top 10’s 0 wins in 2026. Missed cut in US Open.

Ludvig Aberg I thought he would make a run, but failed again. In 2026 0 wins 7 top 10’s.
