DeChambeau is penalized 2 shots for improving his lye by tramping on high fescue grass on the 5th hole, where he took his only bogie making a 20’ putt. Bogie 5 is changed to 7 and he goes from second place-7 to 6th place-5. I think he got screwed!!!

The rules officials called him a cheat, and I hope it motivates him to win the tournament.

I don’t know if he was lining up his shot or creating a better area for him to swing? BUT

I don’t think this was like in Caddyshack when Judge Smils kicked his ball “ winters rules”

I think R&A made it look like that, but who knows, I hope I am right, but interesting finish!!!
