HISTORY

This is the 108th edition of the tournament and is expected to draw over 200,000

spectators. This is the 2nd time Aronimink has hosted the tournament since

Gary Player won in 1962. There are 11 LIV players in the 156 player field, including

Tom McKibbin, a prodigy of Rory McIlroy’s, who decided to join LIV in 2025, and has

made over $13M in total earnings. Also Phil Mickelson will not be playing due to an undisclosed family illness. Last year Rory was 5/1 and #2 behind Scotty who won.

PGA Championship started in 1926 when Rodman Wanamaker formed the PGA

of America & put up $2500 in prize money and a 27Lb trophy still used.

FAVORITES I think 1 in this group will win, best shot Scheffler & Young.

Second favorites Fleetwood & Fitzpatrick.1 Scottie Scheffler(4.5/1) Same odds as last year and I think same results, he wins.

2 Rory McIlroy(8.5/1) I don’t think he can win after his meltdown in RD 3 last week.

3 Cameron Young(12/1) Bad final RD last week but if its not Scotty, he may win.

4 Jon Rahm(16/1) He has a lot to prove after the LIV fiasco, maybe he comes through.

5 Bryson DeChambreau(18/1) Another player probably distracted by LIV events.

6 Xander Schauffele(18/1) First major win at Valhalla 2 years ago but been up&down this year.

7 Ludvig Aberg(20/1) Same odds as last year, usually has 1 or 2 DB’s, I don’t think he can win.

8 Matt Fitzpatrick(22/1) Average 4 RDs last week to finish 52nd, but 3 wins, 1 2nd this year.

9 Tommy Fleetwood(22/1) 5 top 10’s in 9 tournaments this year, best longshot in group.

MY BEST LONGSHOTS (Not in any order)

Rickie Fowler(50/1) Don’t know if he can put 4 exceptional Rds together, but has played well.

Chris Gotterup(50/1) After a strong start, 2 wins in 1st 3 tournaments, hit a wall but improving.

Justin Thomas(40/1) If he can put together 4 solid RDs? Has not done it yet this year.

Tyrrell Hatton(50/1) Tied for 3rd at Masters with low final RD 66.

Patrick Reed(66/1) Currently #1 on DP World Tour and plays well in majors.

SJ Im(100/1) He looked like a winner last week but bogies and DB in RD4 to finish 5th.

Cameron Smith(200/1) Chased down Rory to win THE OPEN in 2022, done zero with LIV.

Tom McKibbnin(250/1) Made a ton of $ with LIV, but at what price?

Brooks Koepka(40/1) Getting better, and first player that took LIV $ but knew it wasn’t forever.

Justin Rose(45/10) Why not at 45 he won The Farmers at Torrey Pines this year.

COMMENTARY

Below is a picture of Aronimink a beautiful club. Holes to watch 1 to 4 all makable par 4’3,

#10 tee crosses #1 Tee, #18 Tee is very close to #17 green.
