OGOLFIT.COM means Ongoing Golf Information & Tournament Previews and Results
INTRODUCTION TO OGOLFIT.COM BLOG SITE
Since the pandemic started in March of 2020, I have been acquiring as much knowledge as possible on golf related material for this BLOG. I spend hours watching Golf Channel, NBC, CBS, and reading as much material as possible to give my readers a better understanding for enjoying watching golf by providing information that may be overlooked by mainstream media.
I am no longer an active golfer and now get my enjoyment by watching the excellent shows and tournament coverage on TV, golf magazines and books dedicated to golf and its professional players.
I am also a big baseball fan who keeps a detailed scorecard while attending games. I find it helps me follow the game and makes it more meaningful. I also save the card as a reminder of my day at the ballpark. This inspired me to start this project.
While watching golf tournaments like Pebble Beach, The Players, The Masters and other majors and smaller tournaments, I find I can relate better and enjoy the TV coverage more by knowing more about players, both past and present, and the courses themselves. I decided to put together a “FACT BOOKLET” to be an excellent guide for those who enjoy watching tournaments. I will be presenting this information on my BLOG OGOLGIT.COM which will be published every Wednesday and Monday. It will give a weekly preview and results of current tournaments. There will usually be 1 and sometimes 2 pages for easy reading. There will also be extended coverage and golfer profiles with information when appropriate.
The first BLOG covering tournaments will be the first of the calendar year 2023. The Sentry Championship taking place Thur Jan to Sun Jan 8. There will also be archives of information available starting with January 2021
