#309 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro Am
Pebble Beach & Spyglass, CA
Feb 12-15, 2026 Par 72
Purse $20M same as last year
HISTORY
Started in 1937 as the Bing Crosby Clambake and became a signature event 2 years ago when the final RD was canceled due to bad weather and unplayable conditions. Tournament will be played at Pebble Beach & Spyglass, which is the more difficult course. Eighty pros (no cut) and 80 amateurs, who will play in the 1st 2 RDs only. McIlroy won last year by dominating the back 9 on the final RD with 1 eagle 3 birdies 0 bogies.
FAVORITES I think 1 of the top 3 will win, or maybe 1 of the long shots.
If not, someone out of nowhere.
1 Scottie Scheffler 3/1 The way he came back last week, if he gets a good start he wins.
2 Rory McIlroy 11/1 His 1st PGA start this year, not overwhelming in DP events.
3 Si Woo Kim 25/1 He has been close in most tournaments this year and is due for a win.
I consider the following 9 the same as my long-shots, and I give my long-shots the edge.
3 Xander Schauffele 25/1 Three RDs of 70 last week but finished with bogie free 65.
3 Tommy Fleetwood 25/1 Like Rory his 1st PGA event and nothing special in early DP events.
6 Viktor Hovland 27/1 He has shown signs of getting out of a rut but not yet.
6 Justin Rose 27/1 Took last week off, but if he can play like his Farmers win?
8 Hideki Matsuyama 30/1. I don’t think he will comeback from his meltdown at WM Open.
8 Chris Gotterup 30/1 What a finish last week after 2 RDs in 70’s, birdies 5 of last 6 holes RD4.
8 Cameron Young 30/1 Last week finished #41 with DB and bogie on back 9 RD4.
8 Matt Fitzpatrick 30/1 Faded on last 3 holes RD3 after getting the lead, 2 bogies front 9 RD4.
8 Maverick McNealy 30/1 1 shot off lead to end RD 3, then bogies 1st 2 holes and 3 more RD4.
MY LONG-SHOTS WIN All of these players could have won last week and could this week.
Michael Thorbjornsen 33/1 Without 2 bogies on 16&17 last week, could have won.
JakeKnapp 33/1 Last year 2nd after RD1, but fades (4 bogies) on back 9 RD 3 to finish 33rd.
Ludvig Aberg 40/1 A real long shot as his game just has not been there since last year.
Pierceson Coody 55/1 Has been in top of leaderboard often this year and I think gets win soon.
Aksahy Bhatia 60/1 He had 4 RDs under 70 last week but can’t seem to finish.
Nicolai Hojgaard Tied for 3rd last week and would be in this group but did not qualify.
SPECIAL INFORMATION
7th hole par 3 is one of the most picturesque and famous par 3’s in all of golf.
