HISTORY

FAVORITES

1 Russell Henley 11/1 Won this event in 2013 did not compete last year.

2 H Matsuyama 17/1 Won in 2023 and Sentry in 2024 finished 16thinSony last year.

3 Ben Griffin 17/1 Won WW Tech in Mexico in November, 3 wins last year.

4 JJ Spahn 18/1 Won his 1st major US Open last year in June at Oakmont.

5 Robert MacIntyre 20/1 one of the sleepers who could win.

6 Colin Morikawa 20/1Came in 2nd last year.

7 Keegan Bradley 20/1. As everyone, I was extremely disappointed with outcome of Ryder Cup. It will be interesting what effect it has on him ion 2026.

One of these 7 should win.

MY WINNER Ben Griffin or Colin Morikawa.

Just like last year this is more like a Fall event with a sub par field.

Only 20 0f the top 50 players are playing and for some reason the field is 120.

The PGA reduced the # of tour cards from 125 to 100 this year, so how this effects # of

Players for each event is still a mystery.

LONG-SHOTS

Corey Connors 30/1. He was in top 4 last year 1st 2 RDs

OUTSIDE CHANCE Austin Eckroat 45/1, Eric Cole 80/1, Stephen Jaeger 80/1.

SPECIAL INFORMATION

Last year this was the 2nd event, but The Sentry was canceled sue to environmental issues.

It will be interesting how much attention this tournament gets and its future as the PGA considers cutting back to possibly 20 tournaments.

Pictured below is the Par 3 7th hole which is changed to 16 for the tournament. In 2009 Ethan Abbot, a member, suggested forming a W with Palm trees behind the green and was inspired by the W Palm tree scene in the 1963 film “Its a mad mad world”. It has become a popular place on the course where people pose for pictures and plan weddings.
