HISTORY

Trust Bank replaced Wells Fargo as sponsor this year. Tournament has been held at

Quail Hollow GC which will host the PGA Championship next week’s one years fill in

will be the Philadelphia Cricket Club which is the oldest Country Club in the US.

This is the first PGA event but It has hosted PGA the Constellation Senior Players Championship in 2016 when Bernard Langer won $420K over Angel Jimenez.

MY FAVORITES My favorites are strictly based an hunches and how they have played the last 2 months. I considered oddsmakers choices, but think one of my top 5 will win.

1 Jordan Spieth(28/1) Three great finishing Rds last week, with 3 bogies, 0 DBs he wins.

2 Tommy Fleetwood(28/1) He has to win sometime, maybe this is the week.

3 Andrew Novak(65/1) Other than McIlroy & Scheffler he has been playing the best lately.

4 Ludvig Aberg(16/1) Struggled for the last 2 months except for 7th at Masters he’s due.

5 Rasmus Hojgaard(100/1) Only 1 top 10 this year but he will win soon.

6 Justin Thomas( Won at Heritage a few weeks ago and his age is back.

7 Tommy Fleetwood. He is ranked 4th to win and has to win sometime.

8 David Berger(40/1) Has played well this year and due to win one.

9 Eric van Rooyen(170/1) Second last week, would have won except for Scheffler.

10 Sam Stevens(90/1) Lesser known player who came in 3rd last week.

MY LONGSHOTS

11 Rory McIlroy(4/1) Should win, and may, but I think he is more focused on next week.

12 Shane Lowry(35/1) He has been knocking on the door all year, this may be the one.

13Tom Hoge(110/1) He has 3 top 10’s this year and is #23 FedX.

14 Ben Griffin(75/1) Got his first win with Novak this year and will win again.

15 Jason Day(50/1) He has had some great starts this year but unable to finish.

HIGH PICKS WHO WON’T WIN.

1 Colin Morikawa(14/1) Week after week in the top 5, but finds a way to lose.

2 Xander Schauffele(16/1) His game improving, but still too rusty to win.

3 Patrick Cantlay(20/1) The most inconsistent on tour and may get a top 10 but no win.

4 Hideki Matsuyama(30/1) Won at Geneses with a great final RD, thats it so far.

5 Wyndham Clark(45) Like Cantlay, too inconsistent.

7 Viktor Hovland(28/1) Won at Valsper but has not done much this year.
