Monday Practice Round was suspended at 11:30AM due to rain and threat of lightning.
The 2025 Masters will have 96 players. All players receive a letter of invitation based on certain criteria. Here is a list of participants and the reason they qualified. There are several ways for qualifying, but only 1 is necessary. * indicates 12 LIV players in the field.
HOLES TO WATCH Jack Nicklaus has stated that these are the 6 most important shots:
Tee shot #2 and #11, also 2nd shot at #11.
Tee shot #12 Shot cost Jordan Spieth the 2024 Masters won by Danny Willett(see blog#231)
Tee shot #13 Last hole of the famous AMENS CORNER.
Second shot #15 Par 5, as all par 5’s it is reachable on 2 by better players, but the 2nd shot must go over a pond and away from a bunker guarding the green.
