COMMENTARY

For me this was a very disappointing tournament. The venue was one of the best on the tour,

but since the introduction of signature events, and I feel the TGL, these tournaments have been

relegated to nothing more than super Korn Ferry or DP Tour events. While I was pleased to see a lesser known player like Joey Highsmith win his first PGA tournament, It is disheartening to see the top 5 made up of relatively unknowns, while the favorites underachieved.

who is this guy and who are the top 5. The performance of the top players was pathetic.

Highsmith had 2 DBs on RD 2 and just made the cut.

144 golfers started the tournament 67 made the cut and 77 were cut.

Of the 77 cut 28 (36%) were included in the 76 golfers published odds by CBS.

Of the least favorite at 150/1 were the following 6 and all made the cut.

Quader Cummins

Patrick Fishburn,

Antonio Rozner,

Kris Ventura,

Jackson Suber

Andrew Putnam

The following from the top 76 missed the cut;

____ of the bottom 68 made the cut.

Cut-5 Missed with scores and highlights over 1st 2 RDs.

Seamus Power-1 141 Eight birdies 5 bogies 1 DB BT#14,15,16.

Harry Higgs+6 Four birdies 2 bogies 3 DB’s BT# 5&16.

Luke Donaold+5 Two birdies 5 bogies 2 DB’s BT# 2 bogies 2 DD’s #15,16,17(2).

Brandon Todd+12 Six birdies 6 bogies 4 DB’s BT#15 & 16.
