Weather difficult with rain and winds 15 to 20MPH with gusts of 28. Amazing how these players can adapt to such conditions. Several scoring well early but then fading, example,
Jake Knapp started with 5 birdies on his 1st 6 holes then 4 bogies on back 9.
McIlroy, Kim,. Lowry shine, Streka fades but comes back, Glover, Davis, Rose hang in there.

2 R McIlroy-15 65 Bogie free RD 4 birdies front 9 the birdies 3 of final 4 holes for lead.
2 S Lowry-15 65 One eagle 2 birdies first 3 holes, then birdies 4 of last 8 holes.
4 T Kim-14 68 Four bogies 8 birdies. Criticized on final RD by Frank Nobilo for slow play!

FINAL ROUND Weather much better, sunny but windy 15-20 MPH.
Unquestionably best of the 1st 5 tournaments. From RD3 four players -15, 3-16.
McIlroy birdies famous #7 for lead-17 then 1st bogie in 2 days for another tie for lead.
On front 9 McIlroy, Streka, Kim-16. Kim leads in birdies with 4 but has 2 bogies.
Back 9 Glover birdies 11&12 ties for lead, McIlroy birdies 12 to regain lead Kim bogies 12,
then Rory takes over on back 9 with his 3rd eagle and .
1 R McIlroy-21 66 Dominates back 9 with 0 bogies 1 eagle 3 birdies. $3.6M
2 S Lowry birdies-19 66 also dominates back 9 but 3 bogies on front place him 2nd. $2.2M
3 L Glover-18 67 Plays his best tournament in over a year to tie for 3rd. $1.7M
3 J Rose-18 68 Eagles 18 to tie for 2nd. All 4 Rds under 70. $1.7M

COMMENTARY Best tournament of the year, uncertain weather, picturesque holes, great performances from the most talented and top players. This could be a start on a great 2025.
