ROUND 3 Hoffman playing as well as last year’s WM Phoenix Open where 

he blew a 3 shot lead with 4 to holes to go and lost in a playoff to Nick Taylor.

2 Jason Day-19 67 Two bogies with 7 birdies for his highest RD but up 1 spot.

2 Justin Lower-19 Also his highest RD with 2 bogies 6 birdies.

5 Patrick Cantlay-18 66 two bogies 8 birdies, 3 on last 3 holes.

FINAL ROUND Nick Dunlap won last year with-29.  He had a 3 shot lead over 

Sam Burnes on the final RD and shot 70 but made a clutch 6’ putt on 18 to win

as Burns found water on 17 & 18 to finish 6th.

2 Justin Thomas-23 66 Another great start with 6 birdies on 1st 11 holes.  $959K

3 Justin Lower-22  Also great start with 3 birdies 1st13 holes.             $519M

3 Jason Day-22  Birdies 1st hole then 4 more but bogies on 14&18. $519M

5 Charlie Hoffman-20 71 Great start with 3 birdies on 1st 8 holes.             $340K

These 5 players have 17 birdies no bogies on front 9.

COMMENTARY

Streka deserved his 3rd win and played 4 good RDs despite bogies 

on 16 & 18 on RD4.  Nice to see Thomas and Day playing so well.  

It is a shame that Hoffman faded on the back 9, TB 6 on #13 and 8 pars.
