The field again shows that the 8 Fall events lack the star power to be taken serious. 

However for the players in these tournaments their future depends on performance in these tournaments.  The changes in 2026 will make these tournaments even less important because there will be 25 less spots up for grabs than this year.

20 Vince Whaley-3 67(115) Four birdies 1 bogie. Finish 8-13

ROUND 2 

1 Patrick Fishburn-11 64 Bogie free RD with 1 eagle 6 birdies.

2 Maverick McNealy-11 Starts with bogie on 3 then 4 birdies.

4 Michael Thorbjornsen-9 69 Starts with bogies on 2&5 then 3 birdies on back 9.

17 Ludvig Aberg-5 64 Bogie free RD 1 eagle 6 birdies to get back in the hunt.

17 Joe Highsmith-5 66 DB on 7 follows up eagle on 8 then 5 birdies on back 9.

48 Davis Thompson 71 3XBogie on 1st hole then-2 for rest of RD.

ROUND 3  The winner should come from the top 6.  Top 3 are the final group.  

Hughes is in the 2nd to last group and finished strong on RD3.  He may have the edge, has won in 2016, 2nd last year.  Whaley 4 years on tour 0 wins #123 FedX had good finish on RD3.  Berger coming back after serious injury in 2022.  His would be a nice win.  

1 Vince Whaley-14 63 After 4 straight birdies yesterday he has bogie free RD 7 birdies.

1 Maverick McNealy-14 After 2 bogies on 1st 4 holes 5 birdies including 20’ on 17.

1 Daniel Berger-12 63 Pne bogie 8 birdies, moves up 15 spots, was 101 after RD1.

3 MacKenzie Hughes-12 65 Finished with 5 birdies on last 8 holes.

3 Michael Thorbjornsen-12 67 Starts with 2 bogies on first 4 holes then 4 birdies. 

3 Patrick Fishburn-12 Two DB’s but 5 birdies to stay in contention.

FINAL RD McNealy led most of the tournament.

2 Daniel Berger-15 67 Eight strokes better than winner on last 3 RDs. $712K

2 Nico Echavarria-15 65 Lowest RD of the day, but bogies 18 for chance at playoff. $712K

8 Whaley 71, Fishburn 69, Thorbjornsen 69, all have 2 bogies to fall off lead.  $251K

FEEL GOOD STORY One of the more well liked guys on the tour, Joel Dahmen has a bogie free RD 64 with 1 eagle and birdies 3 on his last 4 holes to move up to #35 ($40K) and finish #124 in FedX standings at to keep his 2025 PGA card.  

This is what gives meaning to the fall season.
