3 Matthieu Pavon(225/1)-5 65 One bogie 6 birdies, strong finish at Olympics. Finish 46-2

18 Billy Horschel(40/1)-2 Two bogies 4 birdies, playing his best golf in years. Finish 10-10 

18 Rory McIlroy(Proj#3)-2 Eagles 3 then 2 birdies & 2 bogies, another poor finish.Finish 68+9

18 C Young(Proj#19)-2  DB on 14 with 1 bogie & 5 birdies, over par RDs 2&3. Finish 61+2

18 Jordan Spieth(Proj#23) Two bogies, has not shot a bogie free RD in months. Finish 66+9

28 Tony Finau(Prog#10) One DB 3 bogies, but finished 3rd at US Open. Finish 16-8

ROUND 2 I think 1 of these 5 win, and it is Matsuyama.

Kirk shoots par and drops to #10, Hovland 63 & Horschel  65 tied for 7th.

4 Scottie Scheffler-9 65 Only 1 bogie in 1st 2 RDs Rd 3 may decide tournament.

5 Nick Dunlap-9 65 He has 4 bogies in first 2 RDs, by reducing them he may win.

5 Justin Rose-9 66 He also has just 1 bogie and he has played well all year.

ROUND 3

3 Viktor Hovland-11 66 Moves up 4 spots, having his best tournament of the year.

4 Scottie Scheffler-10 69 Three bogies may put him to far behind.

6 Denny McCarthy One DB 3 bogies drops him 5 spots and probably out of winning.

FINAL ROUND Hideki Matsuyama played steady golf and had a 5 stroke lead until bogies on 12&14 then DB on 15, but he birdies 17 and 18 to win by 2.

1 H Matsuyama-17 70 Two great shots on 18 within 6’ of the hole, makes it for birdie. $3.6M 

2 X Schauffele-15 63 Bogie free RD with 7 birdies and almost chases down Hideki. $1.8M

2 Viktor Hovland-15 66 Bogie on 17 to prevent a tie with Matsuyama. $1.8M

4 Scottie Scheffler-14 Makes a 30’ putt on 18 to finish 4th.  $960K

5 Nick Dunlap-13 69 Makes top 50 finishing #48.               $760K
