3 L Aberg-4 68 One bogie 5 birdies. Finish 5-2

3 C Morikawa-4 68 One bogie on 18 with an eagle on 2 and 3 birdies. Finish 5-2

ROUND 2 Blustery winds, no bogie free RDs, best RD Bezuidenhout 67 only 6 broke 70.  

1 S Scheffler-9 68 Strong finish with eagle on 15 birdie on 18.

2 V Hovland-3 69 Also strong finish birdies 3 of last 6 holes.

2 A Hadwin-6 72 DB on 17 with 2 other bogies 4 birdies.

4 C Bezuidenhout-5 67 One bogie 6 birdies up 24 spots. Finish 4-3 

4 K Bradley-5 69 Starts with DB on 3 then moves up 8 spots with 1 eagle 3 birdies.

6 L Aberg-4 72 Two birdies 2 bogies to shoot par and drop 4 spots.

7 R McIlroy-3  71 Four birdies 3 bogies with another on 12, he is +3 on #12.

11 C Morikawa 74 DB on 17 3 bogies 3 birdies. 

20 C Connors E 76 Front 9 -3 but 1 DB 4 bogies on back.

Cut+4 Missed Clark, Spieth+5, Cantlay+7, Fowler+14 Last Place

ROUND 3 Scheffler adds to lead despite holes 9&18, Looks like the final group he and Morikawa will determine the winner.  Morikawa has his bad RD2 74 but can he catch Scottie?

1 S Scheffer-9 71 Starts with birdies on 2&3 for a 4 stroke lead TB on 9 bogie on 18.

2 C Morikawa-6 68 Up 8 spots with bogie free RD.

2 A Hadwin-6 72 Eagle on 2 ties Scheffler-8 but DB on 14 drops him to #2

2 S Straka-6 68 Up 8 spots improved every RD 1 72 RD2 70 RD3 68.

13 R McIlroy-2 Another seesaw RD 3 bogies 2 birdies. 

FINAL RD As expected down to Scheffler & Marikawa but Hadwin starts with 3 birdies and joins the hunt, but he and Morikawa bogie 16 and Scheffler sinks a 30’ putt for par and a 2 stroke lead.  On 17 Morikawa pars and Scheffler bogies and the lead is one.  On 18 both par.

1 S Scheffler-8 74 One birdie 3 bogies makes clutch par putts on 16 & 18 to win $4.0M

2 C Morikawa-7 71 Putted much better but did not make clutch putts at the end $2.2M

3 Adam Hadwin-4 74 3 bogies on last 11 holes to finish 3rd. $1.4M 

On the final RD these were the only 3 who could win.

Other interesting tournament information

Most disappointing performances: 

Cut Jordan Spieth+5 with 1 DB 8 bogies, possibly his wrist injury is affecting his game.

Cut Wyndham Clark+5 with 1 DB 9 bogies also missed cut at PGA is he a flash in the pan?

Cut Patrick Cantlay+7 with 3 DBs & 9 bogies, finished a weak 53rd at PGA.

#15 Viktor Hovland+2 Nine bogies 1 DB on last 27 holes. 

#20 Corry Connors+3 One DB and 17 bogies on last 3 RDs.

#22 Max Homa+4 H was picked for #7 at Heritage and finished 55th, finished 35th at PGA.
