Masters- The back 9 on Sunday usually determines the winner and it did this year,

DeChambeau using a new set of irons costing $10,000.  One of 2 LIV player in top 10.

J. Thomas shoots even par on 1st RD. On last 4 holes RD 2 1bogie 3 DBs to miss cut by 1.

Tiger shoots 82 on 3rd RD after setting record for 24 straight cuts made.

LIV players made it more interesting.  DeChambeau had a chance to win, Smith finished tied for 6th, Reed tied for 12th but were never in it, other 10 finished outside the top 20.

ROUND 1 2 1/2 hour rain delay.  Sunny, windy 15 from noon on caused high scores.

1 Bryson DeChambeau(46/1)-7 65 birdies 1st 3 holes,1 bogie and birdies 5 of his last 7 holes.

2 Scottie Scheffer-6 66 Bogie free with 6 birdies.

3 Max Homa(46/1)-5 67 Seven birdies 2 bogies..

3 Nicolai Hojgaard(190/1)-5 67  Seven birdies 2 bogies.

Others Niemann-2, Morakawa, McIlroy, Schauffele-1, Fleetwood & J. Thomas E, Aberg, Woods, Rahm, Koepka, Mickelson+1, D. Johnson+6 2 bogies 2 DBs 0 birdies, Spieth+7 a 9 on #15.  

ROUND 2 Very windy again 15MPH gusting to 40MPH.  Aberg only player to break 70.

1 Scottie Scheffer-6 72 Hits into Rae’s Creek on 13 for bogie and lose of lead.

1 Max Homa-6 71 2 birdies in first 4 holes then bogie on 11, 1 of only 8 players to break par.

1 Bryson De Chambeau-6 73 Four bogies including #18 with 3 birdies.

5 Colin Morakawa-3 70 Five birdies 3 bogies. 

5 Schauffele-3 72 One DB 2 bogies, 4 birdies.

7 Ludvig Aberg-2 69 Six birdies, 3 bogies.  Lowest RD and most birdies.

44 Jon Rahm+5 76 One DB, 4 bogies but birdies 15&16 to miss cut.

35 Rory McIlroy+4 77 One DB, 3 bogies no birdies at Masters for first time in a RD in 8 years.

ROUND 3 Weather conditions much better.

1 Scottie Scheffler-7 71 DBs bogies 10 loses lead eagles 13  birdies 15 bogies 17 birdies 18!

2 Colin Morikawa-6 69 Shoots-3 on front 9. Pars back 9, improves all 3 RDS 71,70,69.

3 Max Homa-5 73 One bogie and 17 pars.

4 Ludvig Aberg-4 70 He was tied for the lead with birdie on 13 then bogies 14&15.

6 DeChambeau-3 75 Four bogies 3 birdies thru 14 then DB on 15, holes out on18 for birdie.

23 Rory McIlroy+3 Two bogies, 3 birdies

28 Jan Rahm+5 Pars 16 holes with 1 birdie and I bogie.

FINAL RD Winds lightest of week temperature in 80’s. Everyone but Schaffer folded.  Morakawa and Aberg DB’s on 9&11, Homa DB’s 12. 

1 Scottie Scheffler-11 68 After bogies on 4&7 to give up the lead he birdies 8,9,10 for 2 stroke lead, then bogies 11, but birdies 13,14&16 while everyone except Aberg struggled. $3.6M 

2 Ludvig Aberg-7 67 Hits water on 11 for DB and loses tie for lead, but birdies 13&14. $2.2M

3 Max Homa-4 73 Loses ball in shrubs on 12 and DB’s then bogies 17. $1.1M

3 Tommy Fleetwood-4 69 Steady tournament bogie free RD4 and all-par. $1.1M

3 Colin Morakawa-4 74 After DB’s on 9&11 he is done. $1.1M
