The tournament was well attended despite very bad weather and the loss of Signature Status, There were 5 1/2 hours of delays over 1st 3 RDs.

ROUND 1 Weather cold 46*, windy 15-20 MPH, rainy.  Play suspended at 2:30 EST.  

1 Nick Taylor-11 60 (150/1) Bogie free with 11 birdies, 185’ on 23 putts, ties course record.

2 Sathith Theegala-6 65(35/1) One bogie, 7 birdies.

2 Andrew Novack-6 65 Two bogies, 1 eagle, 6 birdies, he has not made a cut yet this year. 

2 Maverick McNealy-6(250/1) 65 Two bogies, 1 eagle, 6 birdies.

5 Charlie Hoffman-5(300/1) One bogie 5 birdies. 

15 Jordan Spieth-3 68 Two bogies, 5 birdies

15 Scottie Scheffler-3 68 One bogie, 4 birdies started 2nd RD on 10.

15 Sam Burnes-3 68 One bogie, 4 birdies

#73 Max Homa & Ricky Fowler+2.

ROUND 2. RD2 not completed on Friday, Theegala didn’t even get out.   He finishes RD 2 on Saturday with birdies 4 on his last 6 holes and shoots 64. 

1 Sathith Theegala-13 64 One bogie 8 birdies to keep lead.

2 Andrew Novak-12 65 (600/1) Started with birdies on 3 of 1st 5 holes, back to back 65’s.

2 Nick Taylor-12 70 Not quite the Rd as yesterday 1 bogie 2 birdies.

4 Maverick McNealy-10 67 Two bogies, 6 birdies. 

6 Scottie Scheffler-8 66 Bogie free with 4 birdies, poor putting still an issue.

6 Jordan Spieth-8 66 Two bogies, 1 eagle, 5 birdies up from #15.

11 Sam Burns-7 On his front 9 starting on 10 he birdies 12 to 15 and 17.

CUT-2 Missed Poston-1, Homa-2, Bhatia+4 (8 bogies), Kutcher+4 (6 bogies 1DB) 

Fowler+6 (7 bogies 2DB).  73 players made the cut.

ROUND 3 No wind, rain at start of play 7:30AM, stopped around 9:30, cleared up around 10:00.  After 2 1/2 days of unusually bad weather the rest of the tournament should be clear but cold 48*.  RD2 ends at 3:50PM EST, then RD3 goes from 4:10 to 6:10 EST. 

Play is suspended with leaders completing 6 holes, #1 Taylor-1 #2 Theegala+1, #3 Novak+1.

RD3 resumes at 7:30 EST and is completed at 2:05PM. Standings after completion ROUND 3.  

1 Sathith Theegala-15 69 Bogies 1st 2 holes then 4 birdies, 1 on 17 for the lead.

1 Nick Taylor-15 68 Bogies 7&9 then 4 birdies, 1 on 17 to tie for the lead.

3 Charlie Hoffman-1 One bogie, 8 birdies including 5 of last 7 holes.

3 Andrew Novak-14 Three bogies on first 14 then eagle on 15.

4 Scottie Scheffler-13 66 Bogies 2,14 &18 but has 5 straight birdies 9 to 13, putted very well. 

7 Sam Burns-11 One bogie on #2, birdies 5 of his last 7 holes. 

9 Jordan Spieth-10 69  Two bogies, 4 birdies.

FINAL ROUND Sunny 47 to 56*, W 6MPH, Starting time 2:10PM.  The putting by the top 5 has been incredible. Nick Taylor makes a 20’ putt on 9 to tie for lead, 3 birdies on 6 to 9.  Then he birdies 3 of the last 4 holes to overcome a 3 stroke lead by Charlie Hoffman.  In the playoff he has another 2 birdies on #18 to win on the 2nd playoff hole.

1 Nick Taylor-21 263 Bogie free RD with tremendous putting. $1.6M  

2 Charlie Hoffman-21 263 First top 10 in 2 years, almost got his 1st win since 2016. $959K

3 Scheffler Two bogies, 7 birdies, his putting hurt him again. $519K 

3 Sam Burnes-18 He and Hoffman lowest RD 64, one bogie, 1 eagle, 7 birdies. $519K

5 Sahith Theegala-17 267 Did not have his best game 1 bogie and 3 birdies. $361K

6 Jordan Spieth-14 270 Four RDs of 69 or better, but 7 bogies over 4 RDs hurt. $308K

6 Maverick Mcnealy-14 270  He was in top 10 all tournament, his best in a long time. $308K

8 Andrew Novak-13 271 In mix 1st 3 RDs then 3 bogies on last RD, at least he got paid. $249K
