#107 RESULTS Rounds 1&2 AMERICAN EXPRESS 2024 La Quinta CA.
This tournament like most non majors & non signature events has a mixed field. We will take a new approach to our coverage of scoring. It will feature 3 categories instead of showing the top scores. This way you can evaluate how some of the top players and less successful players perform. Branden DeChambeau has stated that the LIV format of 54 holes is better than the 72 holes of the PGA Tour because fans don’t care about the first round. Maybe these statistics will show weather his view is right or wrong.
GROUP A Top 50- There are 22 of the top 50 playing, we will feature 9 players.
GROUP B Players from 51 on, we will feature 9 players.
GROUP C Newcomers we will feature 12 players.
