Saturday September 30, 2023 Ryder Cup Second Round
The USA attempts to rebound from a weak showing in both sessions yesterday. They were shut out in the morning session and should have won 3 of the 4 matches in the afternoon. Scottie Scheffler made a birdie on 17 to take a 1 hole lead, but Jon Rahm outdid him by eagling 18 for a tie. Justin Thomas came within an inch of eagling 18 for a win but they had to settle for a tie. Homa had a chance to win their match with an 8’ birdie putt to win but missed then Justin Rose makes a similar putt for the tie. Americans outplayed in round 1.
