RESULTS TOUR CHAMPIONSHIP AUGUST 24 TO 27, 2023 EAST LAKE GC, ATLANTA GA.

ROUND 1 Scheffler looses lead again. He and only 6 other players are +par. TV announcers making all kind of excuses for Scheffler’s poor play. Again he is just not playing well enough to win.
#1 Colin Morikawa-10 61 Was-1 at start,1 eagle, 7 birdies, 0 bogies, his best RD of the year.
#1 Keegan Bradley-10 63 Bogie free RD. One of my longshots at 130/1.
#1 Viktor Hovland-10 68 Missed a 6’ putt on 15 to take lead, where Scheffler 3XB to loose lead.
#2 Scottie Scheffler-9 71 He blows a 5 stroke lead triple bogie on #15, again poor putting.
#5 Adam Schenk-8 63 Birdies 5 of last 6 holes. He should have been on my longshots 500/1.
#7 Rory McIlroy-7 Playing with bad back, but strong back 9.
#7 Jon Rahm-7 69 Again not playing well, missed several short putts.
#10 Xander Schauffele-6 67/ 3 bogies killed him, but still in the hunt.
#17 Max Homa-4 70 Started with DB on#1. I don’t think he will recover to win.
#21 Lucas Glover 72 Looks like pressure finally kicked in, front 9 +4.
ROUND 2 #1 Viktor Hovland-16 64 18 birdies only 2 bogie in first 2 RDs.
#2 Coin Morikawa-16 64/ 13 birdies, 0 bogies in first 2 RDs. His is putting may be his downfall.
#3 Scottie Scheffler-14 65/ 6 birdies 0 bogies. Playing well enough to win, except for Hovland.
#4 Keegan Bradley-13 67 #5 Xander Schauffele-12 64
#5 Jon Rahm-12 65 #7Rory McIlroy-10 67
ROUND 3 #1 Viktor Hovland -2 66 Another super RD. Only 2nd bogie of tournament.
#2 Xander Schauffele-22 68, #3 Wyndham Clark-16 68, #4 Rory McIlroy-14 65 #5.
ROUND 4 Hovland birdies the last 3 holes to win going away by 5. Schauffele tried to make it interesting, but Havland’s final RD last week and his 4 this week, were the best 5 RDs by anyone this season. He played mistake free, which is what usually hurts him, and has achieved the elite status that he has shown at times in the past few years. At 25 this is his 4th year as a pro. He had strong outings at The Players #3, Masters #7, PGA Championship #2 (double bogie on #16 or he may have defeated Koepka). Look for him to win a major in 2024. The next young golfer to watch Ludvig Alberg, which him at Ryder Cup, may be a big surprise.
#1 Victor Hovland-27 63 Only 2 bogies with 21 birdies to go wire to wire. $18M
#2 Xander Schauffele-22 62/ 7 birdies on first 12 holes not enough. $6.5M
#3 Wyndham Clark-16 65 I guess this guy is for real with his finish and US Open win $5.0M
#4 Rory McIlroy-14 65 Even with some back issue he finds a way. $4.0
#5 Patrick Cantlay-13 66 He shot 4 TRDs under par, but 8 bogies. $5.0
#6 Tommy Fleetwood-11 66 Four solid RDS. I think he will win his first this fall $2.0
#6 Collin Morikawa-11 72 He has to be disappointed after his great 1sr RD $2.0
#6 Scottie Scheffler-11 70 Last 2 RDs have to hurt, tough let 3 months $2.0
#10 Keegan Bradley-10 Had a chance to finish much higher, 3 bogies back 9. $1.5
#18 Jon Rahm-7 Five straight bogies 7 to 11. It will be a long off season. $680K
#29 Taylor Moore+6 69 Had misfortune of last place 2 weeks in a row. $505K
