Olympic Fields Country Club is located in the Village of Olympia Fields in Cook County IL. It is a suburb of Chicago with a population of about 5,000. One of the wealthiest majority African-American communities in the United States. It is ranked among the top 5% in the US for median household income.
The club was founded in 1915. The first president was Amos Alonzo Stagg, famous football coach at the University of Chicago. The main dinning room of the club is named in his honor. An 80’ 4 sided clock tower is part of the clubhouse built to in 1925 and is their logo.
They have hosted several major championships;
