In the field of 144 only 11 are in The Masters. That means if 1 of the other 133 wins he will be the 90th and final player in. Conners was already in so Masters field is full at 89.

FINAL ROUND Rogers birdied the 2nd hole, then bogies 4 of the next 6 as Conners birdies 3 of the first 9 holes for a 3 stroke lead. Rogers never recovered and after leading in RDS 2 & 3 finished 5th. When Conners missed two 3’ putts on 16 in RD2 I thought he was done, but he held on to win. Rogers showed no class. He is 31 years old, turned pro in 2014 and was playing in his 235th event and has never won. He choked. He had an opportunity to win for the 1st time, with a trip to the Masters, shot the highest round 4(73) of the 14 top 10 finishers, took almost 10 minutes to decide on a layup shot on 18 which left eventual winner Conners time too much time to think about the most important shot of his golf life, (noted by TV announcers Hicks & Azinger), and was rude with his “congratulations” to Conners on the 18th. I may be wrong so I will keep an eye on him, slow player and a looser?
