This tournament is the start of the 2023 CALENDAR YEAR TOURNAMENTS.
Next year it will be the official start of 2024 FedX Cup season ending in August/September with the TOUR CHAMPIONSHIP. The Fall season for 2024 has not been finalized.

Cameron Smith defeated Jon Rahm by 1 stroke to win last year. Since Smith joined LIV, he will not be eligible to defend his title. 17 of the top 20 world golfers are playing. Rory McIlroy is eligible but chose not to play, as he did last year. This is the first of the 13 elevated tournaments offering substantially increased purses. The field of 39 tee. Off at 2:30PM EST.
